Event Information
Aram Seya Virumbu is a 60-minute Tamil play inspired by selected stories from Ilango Adigal’s epic Silapadhikaram. The core intent of the play is to explore the many shades of Aram (righteousness) presented across the epic, and to reflect on how these values remain deeply relevant in our lives today.
Through simple language and relatable art forms, the play attempts to condense a 2,000-year-old epic into an engaging theatrical experience accessible to all age groups, from children to elders.
The play is based on research and commentary of esteemed authors Ka.Panchangam and Pa.Saravanan
